The University of San Marino, in compliance with the provisions of the Statute - Annex A to Law 67/2014 - thanks to the numerous conventions signed with important foreign universities (European and non-European), offers its students the opportunity to spend periods of student mobility in these structures.
At the moment, the University of San Marino manages, through specific tenders, the assignment of mobility places for study in European and non-European countries aimed at its students, regularly enrolled, in the Bachelor's and Master's degree courses.
During. to. 2024/2025 students will be able to participate in exchanges in foreign universities in different teaching periods and with the same purposes.
To access calls and selections, students must:
- be up-to-date with the payment of university fees;
- submit an application for assignment within the deadlines established by the announcement.
The University of San Marino guarantees students academic recognition of the period spent abroad, for attending teaching activities and passing the exams according to the methods of the European ECTS system (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System). Within the ECTS, 60 credits represent the volume of work of an academic year of study and, as a rule, 30 credits are equivalent to one semester.
Students on international mobility, arriving at the host University, will have to fill in the application form. Taking charge, available among the attachments on this page, and ensure that it is returned to the Student Secretariat by email mobilita.studenti@unirsm.sm as soon as possible.

Students will receive personal communication
For each student admitted to international mobility for study reasons, a special document will be drawn up learning agreement, i.e. an agreement between the student, the sending University and the receiving University, which reports the training activities to be carried out at the host University and which will replace the training activities envisaged in the student's original study plan. This document must be evaluated and signed by the professors responsible for the exchange in the respective universities of origin and destination and approved by the study program council before departure.
The definitive recognition of training activities carried out abroad will be carried out by the Student Secretariat.
For the a.y. 2024/2025, the University guarantees selected students a subsidy equal to:
- €300,00 for European destinations
- €1.000,00 for non-European destinations
At the end of the mobility period, the student must submit an explicit request for assistance using the form attached below.
