Peer tutor for DSA and other SEN students

Can access the selection for Peer Tutors The regularly enrolled students in progress in the first level degree courses of the University of the Republic of San Marino by submitting an application as indicated in the notice attached below.

Can take advantage of the support of a peer tutor The students who have submitted certification for Specific Learning Disorder or other Special Educational Needs, enrolled to the same first level degree course of the University of the Republic of San Marino and enrolled in the same course year or previous course year of the tutor, making an explicit request to the Inclusion Services (inclusion@unirsm.sm).

Il Peer tutors carries out its function in favor of students with DSA or other BES of the same year and Degree Course, carrying out, by way of example, the following functions:

  • Preparation of lecture notes in an accessible format
  • Introduction to the use of compensatory tools (any software, etc.)
  • Support in the organization and retrieval of study materials, in the creation of maps, diagrams, summaries
  • Individual study support (or in a group in the case of multiple certified students from the same year of the course, up to a maximum of 3 students per tutor)

Hours of activity can be done during the academic year 2024-2025 in relation to the needs of the students who request it.

Il compensation provided for each scholarship corresponds to €8,00/hour up to a maximum of €1.200,00 for 150 hours, for each scholarship.

La selection it will take place on the basis of the verification of the requirements and documents foreseen by the announcement and through an interview aimed at evaluating the characteristics and motivations of the candidates in relation to the activity to be carried out.

The scholarship beneficiary student will be required to carry out a short online training course with the aim of acquiring basic knowledge of DSA and other BES.
