Peer tutor for SLD and other SEN students

Students currently enrolled in Bachelor's degree courses at the University of the Republic of San Marino can access the selection for Peer Tutors by submitting an application as indicated in the attached announcement.

Students who have submitted certification for Specific Learning Disorder or other Special Educational Needs, enrolled in the same Bachelor's degree course of the University of the Republic of San Marino and in the same or previous year of the tutor, can take advantage of the support of a peer tutor making an explicit request to the Inclusion Services (inclusione@unirsm.sm).

The Peer tutor provides support to students with SLD or other SEN, enrolled in the same year and degree course, carrying out, by way of example, the following functions:

  • Preparation of lecture notes in an accessible format
  • Introduction to the use of compensatory tools (e.g. software, etc.)
  • Assistance in organising and gathering study materials, creating mind maps, diagrams and summaries
  • Individual study support (or group support in case of multiple certified students enrolled in the same year of the course, up to a maximum of 3 students per tutor)

This activity of support can be done during the academic year 2025-2026 in relation to the needs of the students who may have requested it.

The compensation provided for each scholarship corresponds to €8,00/hour up to a maximum of €1.200,00 for 150 hours, for each scholarship.

The selection will be based on verification of requirements and documents specified in the announcement and through an interview aimed at evaluating the characteristics and motivations of the candidates in relation to the activity to be carried out.

The scholarship recipient will be required to attend a short online training course with the aim of acquiring basic knowledge of SLD and other SEN.
