The project "Theater and Citizenship” is based on the belief that the theater can be capable of carrying out and reconnecting threads of discourses that evoke the fascinating theme of complexity. With its potential for creativity and innovation, the theater is able to transform and strengthen the social and personal skills of citizens and to respond to the need to form a critical and aware citizenry. In this possibility of meeting oneself and with diversity, of re-imagining, transforming and building new citizenships, the theater offers a different gaze with which to see the world.

Theater Festival of Democratic Citizenship
The Theater Festival of Democratic Citizenship was born in 2007 from a project of the Department of Education of the University of San Marino, in collaboration with the Faculty of Education Sciences of the University of Bologna and with the Social and Cultural Activities Office of the Republic of San Marine.
